I will finally spill one simple secret that has helped my lace wig last twice as long as other peoples.

Just imagine you are running late for work and you are an African American who has natural hair. What if you learn that you have an interview at work tomorrow and your hair is currently in a 'fro because you just washed it? You could wear your fro, spend an hour or two straightening your hair, get a last minute hair appointment and pay a premium or perhaps you may decide to wear a wig. The convenience of placing the wig is hard to beat. Even if you are wearing a lace front wig, where tape and cutting are required, you could place the wig in about ten minutes, if you have placed a lace front wig before.
If one is undergoing medical treatment like chemotherapy or perhaps there is a diagnosis of alopecia in your family, wigs are a fantastic alternative to hats, scarves and/or a bald head.
Maybe you are simply going out with your friends and want a new look. Wigs are a perfect fit for your appearance if you want to kick it up a notch.
Here are my thoughts to anyone and especially my "homeys" in Flint, Michigan who may or may not be a part of the Black hair care community. When applying or removing lace front wigs, make sure you are using the proper technique from a trained professional. Adhesives, glue and two -sided tape are wonderful for attaching wigs and hairpieces. However, great care must be used to remove adhesive without pulling the hair. Black Hair Care Hair Growth Resources One of the secrets to black hair care and growth is moisturizing and conditioning. Yes, it is okay to moisturize and condition all types of black hair, natural or chemically treated. Yes, its okay to wet black hair more often than every two weeks! The key is to make sure your hair is well conditioned and protected.
